The benefits of CBD herbal tea:

CBD can very well be used in herbal tea, especially in these cold times in Europe. Indeed, a simple herbal tea already brings many benefits to the body, depending on the flowers used. It helps you sleep, is positive for intestinal transit, and allows good hydration of the body. Certain varieties of flowers will also act positively on certain pains that you may have. Add to this the benefits of the CBD molecule, and you will have a warm, relaxing and soothing drink. Indeed, a CBD herbal tea, beyond the positive points of a normal herbal tea, will add a bit of relaxation and take away a little stress before going to bed for example. It will relax you and have a positive effect on your body to help you get a good night's sleep. Why winter? Well, many of you find yourself in cold regions in the winter, and it is now possible to combine the warmth of your herbal tea, while making it more relaxing. Even if you are in a region less prone to cold, you can still eat it of course!

How to make CBD herbal tea?

There are several ways to use your CBD and make herbal tea:
  • Take dried tea flowers and other flowers of your choice (chamomile, jasmine, rose, etc.) as well as 1-2 grams of a CBD flower of your choice:
  • Mix everything together, and put in a tea filter/strainer.
  • Boil water with a solid body in it (oil, butter, honey) so that this solid body brings out the CBD molecules.
  • Once the water is ready, steep your mixture for a few seconds (10-15) while the flowers infuse.
  • Place your filter back in a cup, and pour in normal boiling water, not the water that was used previously.
  • It's ready ! Take advantage!
You can also decarboxylate your CBD, then simply put it in a tea filter with water. Decarboxylating your CBD flower will release molecules, and therefore it can be used directly in herbal tea. It is a technique that is used regularly by cooking and gastronomy enthusiasts, who seek to create new recipes with good CBD flowers. To do this, it happens in the oven:
  • Preheat your oven to between 110 and 120 °C.
  • Prepare a baking sheet, on which you place slightly corrugated/crumbled baking paper so that the flowers do not touch the baking sheet too much as it will heat up.
  • Place your crumbled flowers on the paper. The flowers should not be too small or powdery, otherwise they will lose their potency.
  • Heat for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Take everything out and let it cool before using it, either as a herbal tea, or in cakes or other culinary preparations.
For herbal teas, once decarboxylation is complete, you can mix your CBD flowers with other herbal teas, or simply consume them as they are.
